What is Swoosh?

Swoosh is a secure Instant EFT payment solution that allows customers to make online payments directly from their bank accounts without using a credit card. Payments are processed in real-time, providing instant confirmation to both the customer and the merchant.

How does Swoosh work?

When you select SwooshEFT as your payment method, you will be redirected to your bank’s secure online banking platform. From there, you log in and select the account from which you want to make the payment. Once the payment is complete, SwooshEFT confirms the transaction in real-time, and the merchant is immediately notified to release your goods or services.

Do I need to register with SwooshEFT to use it?

No, there’s no need to register to use SwooshEFT. You can use our Instant EFT service directly at checkout by selecting SwooshEFT and logging in to your bank’s online platform. It’s fast, simple, and doesn’t require creating an account.

Is Swoosh secure?

Yes, SwooshEFT uses industry-standard encryption technology to ensure that every transaction is secure. We adhere to the highest security protocols to protect your personal and financial information at all times.

Which banks are supported by Swoosh?

Swoosh supports all major South African banks, including:

Are payments through SwooshEFT processed instantly?

Yes!, payments made through SwooshEFT are processed in real-time. As soon as the payment is completed, both the customer and the merchant receive instant confirmation. This allows merchants to release goods or services without delay.

Are there any fees for using SwooshEFT?

As a customer, there are no additional fees for using SwooshEFT to make Payments and Payouts. The total amount due to the merchant is the only amount you’ll pay.

Can I use SwooshEFT for payment acceptance on any website?

SwooshEFT is available on participating websites that have integrated our Instant EFT payment solution. Look for SwooshEFT as a payment option at checkout. If your favorite store doesn’t offer SwooshEFT yet, you can suggest it to them as a secure, real-time payment solution.

What if I encounter a problem with my SwooshEFT payment?

Can I reverse a payment made through Swoosh?

Payments made through SwooshEFT are processed instantly and confirmed in real-time, so they cannot be reversed directly through our platform. If you need a refund, please contact the merchant where the payment was made to request a reversal or refund, or email our support team at: support@swoosh.africa

How do I know if my payment was successful?

Once your payment is completed, SwooshEFT provides instant confirmation both on-screen and via email. The merchant will also receive immediate notification of the payment, and your goods or services can be released right away.
